Coppélia

Coppélia is a sweet, light-hearted ballet about a mysterious inventor and his life-size doll, which features a gorgeous score of well-known music. Franz, a village youth, who is engaged to his sweetheart, Swanhilda, flirts and becomes infatuated with Dr. Coppélius’ life-size dancing doll, Coppélia. Swanhilda decides to play a trick on both Franz and Dr. Coppélius by dressing as the doll and pretending to come to life.

Guest artists for Coppélia are Megan Fairchild and Andrew Veyette of New York City Ballet.
