La
Vivandière (or Markitenka, as it is known in
Russia), a pas de six choreographed by Arthur
Saint Léon and Fanny Cerrito staged for the company by Yury
Fateyev, the artistic director of Russia’s
iconic Marinsky (Kirov) Ballet.
Alice
in Wonderland
Enjoyable for the entire
family, Festival Ballet Theatre’s premiere of Alice in
Wonderland features professional Company dancers, whimsical
sets and colorful costumes.
Based on Lewis Carroll’s
classic tale, Emmy Award-winning choreographer Robert Sund’s rendition
of Alice in Wonderland is a heart-racing
adventure down the Rabbit Hole, into Wonderland Garden and through the
Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. During the imaginative journey, you’ll see all
your favorite Alice characters – from the White
Rabbit, to the Cheshire Cat, Tweedledee & Tweedledum, and the
infamous Queen of Hearts.
