A native of Long Beach, CA, Sadie Eppes began her ballet training at
the age of 8 with Riverside Ballet Arts. She continued her studies at
Ballet Pacific and attended summer programs at Houston Ballet Academy,
Pacific Northwest Ballet School, and The School of American Ballet in
New York City. At 18, she received a full scholarship to Houston Ballet
Academy and danced many principal roles in ballets including Paquita,
Spare Parts and Spring Waters. While
at the Academy, Eppes was chosen to perform with Houston Ballet in The
Nutcracker and Balanchine’s La Valse.
In 2004, she graduated from Houston Ballet Academy and began her
professional career with Columbia City Ballet in South Carolina. Having
regularly toured the southern U.S., Eppes performed many soloist roles
in ballets such as Dracula, The Nutcracker,
Giselle and Swan Lake. Most recently a
member of Los Angeles Ballet, she has expanded her repertory to include
roles in Apollo, Serenade and Who Cares.
She has also danced with Glory Productions and was featured as
principal dancer in The Glory of Christmas
(2008). This is Eppes first season with Festival Ballet Theatre.
