Eight Southland Ballet Academy students competed in Youth America Grand Prix’s New York finals held earlier this month.  Moorea Pike, 15, finished in the Top 12 of the Senior Division during the Final Round.  This year was Moorea’s sixth year participating in YAGP, second year she has made it to the final round and her first year in the senior division.

Junior Division (Ages 12-14) dancers included Gavin Pike, who won first place in the YAGP San Diego Regionals and Silvi Lybbert.

  • Gavin Pike – Princess Grace Academy in Monaco and Houston Ballet
  • Maile Campagna – The Australian Ballet School

We congratulate all the students, who participated in YAGP Regionals and Finals.  They were all amazing and danced beautifully!
