INTERNATIONAL SUMMER INTENSIVE
July 27 – August 6, 2026 – Fountain Valley
Designed for serious male and female dancers, ages 11 to 20, Southland Ballet’s Summer Intensive is dedicated to excellence in training the aspiring professional dancer. During this extensive program, students, divided into three levels, are offered the rare opportunity to benefit under the guidance and expertise of internationally known Ballet Masters.
Curriculum: ballet technique, pointe, variations, contemporary, character, conditioning and pas de deux
Class Schedule: Classes will be held Monday, July 27th through Saturday, August 1st and Monday, August 3rd through Thursday, August 6th approximately from 9am to 4pm.

Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall
A two act performance featuring guest artists from prestigious dance companies around the world. All International Summer Intensive students will perform at the first act of the Gala of the Stars.

Gala VIP Dinner with the Stars – Thursday, August 6, 2026 following the performance
Box Circle Lobby of Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall
Immediately following the “17th Annual Gala of the Stars” performance, ticket holders are invited to enjoy an exclusive gourmet dinner in in the Box Circle Lobby. Dine with the guest stars in this customized experience to celebrate the special occasion.

Sunset Gala Dinner Cruise With The Stars – Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 5pm
Newport Beach Harbor
Enjoy the Pacific Ocean panoramic view and watch the sunset while sipping a glass of wine. Mingle and dine with our Gala world-class stars aboard the Icon in Newport Beach.
Tickets: $200 Adults, $150 Children

2026 Tuition & Fees:
International Summer Intensive –
- Early-Bird Discount Tuition: $2,500
- Early-Bird Tuition Deadline: February 15, 2026 (Payment includes $500 non-refundable & non-transferable payment.)
- Full Tuition: $2,700
- Tuition Payment Deadlines: Half-Payment ($1,350) by February 15, 2026 & balance ($1,350) due by April 30, 2026. (Payment includes $500 non-refundable & non-transferable payment.)
International Intensive Activities Fee:
Price: $300
- August 5, 2026: student ticket to the “Welcome the Stars Dinner Cruise”
- August 6, 2026: student will be performing on the stage and following their performance will be escorted to a reserved section in the theatre to watch the Gala of the Stars performance at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts Samueli Theatre
